Targe Shield - The targe shield is a large shield formed from wooden boards with a metal plate over it. It can be round, star shaped or two concentric circles.

Optional (Spikes): Some targes have center pieces that can accept a long steel spike which screws in place. When not in use, the spike can be unscrewed and placed in a pouch on the back.

Optional (Decorations): Targes are often decorated with embossed patterns from the lands of Alba.

Equipping: An Targe shield has two straps on the back that can be strapped to the shield arm.
