Solaret - A Solaret is reinforced mail armor worn on the foot. It has a distinctive narrow toe design that ends in a point in the front.

Optional: They are often worn with a very long extension fastened to the front which is removed when the armor is worn by a man. When displayed with the fancy long extensions tied on the toe, the style is known as an 'a la poulaine'.

Equipping: They are typically attached by six metal clasps.
