Bola (Entangling: One handed) The Bola consists of three stone or metal weights connected to two short cords with heavy weights, and one long cord with a light weight. The heavier weights fly out first and wrap around the side of the target and strike with great force while the lighter weight goes further around wrapping them up tight.

The Bola is a popular weapon with those who raise cattle since in skilled hands it can be used to capture the animals legs and bring them down in a hurry if needed. It is also popular with many different types or combatants.
