Understanding Cover: An impassible block or other terrain can provide you with cover of varying degrees of effectiveness.

Corners: Attacking around corners can be one effective way of finding cover.

Arrow Slits: These are very effective cover for arrow fire.

Obstacle: An object or barrier is terrain that hampers movement or blocks it completely (unless broken). A barricade, a pile of wood, or a wooden fence is an obstacle that can provide cover.
