Faction Building: High faction can get you discounts on equipment, more money on item sales, free or low cost training, and many other perks. It can also be a prerequisite for the most lucrative adventures so remember to build faction when and where you can.

Special Events: Certain special objectives can earn a high amount of faction. Examples are capturing a notorious fugitive, saving a count or other royal family member, retrieving a lost artifact or killing a hated enemy.
