City of Redcastle (Crooked Palace)

Crooked Palace: This building has a red and brown stone exterior and old steel doors that are adorned with decorative touches that look rugged and dated. Its windows are shuttered but open and blue curtains can be seen from the outside.

Inside) There is a horseshoe shaped bar in the main room just beyond the lobby. Men in dusty leather congregate around the area drinking wine and ale at the bar. It's floors in this room are a bit lopsided. Behind the bar area is a small kitchen where delicious smelling foods of many varieties are cooked and served in wire baskets and iron mugs by male and female waitresses who all seem to be Deru Elves.

Note: The food at the Crooked Palace is excellent and all three meals are included in the stay. There is usually some decent entertainment at night too if you like song and stories.

Note: This place is lopsided because of settling which helped it earn its strange moniker and it's discount rates for adventurers. Just don't drink too much in the main room unless you can really hold your liquor. The tilt to the floor can be... well let's just call it a bit unsettling. Endurance resists at -20 here.

Fireplace Room: There is a round archway that leads to another area with a stone hearth and several wooden tables and chairs.

During Drinking Hours: Performance (Uncommon): Nightly: The wingless Dragons of Xianyang: It is a bit loud in here as several men buy rounds of ale for the house and then finally a storyteller takes her place in front of the hearth and begins to tell a tale about the far away lands of Xianyang and the how the dragons there could not fly for thousands of years until a young boy taught them how to take flight for the first time. The tale is one of mystery, suspense and drama that ends with the boy becoming emperor of the entire continent.

Outside Before Drinking Hours: It is empty in here now but a sign says tonights performance the wingless Dragons of Xianyang.
