Kite Shield - A kite shield is a large shield formed from wooden boards with a metal plate over it. It can be a reverse teardrop shape or flat-topped with the tapering point that comes almost to the ground when wielded.

Optional (Spikes): Some kite shields have center pieces that can accept a long steel spike which screws in place. When not in use, the spike can be unscrewed and placed in a pouch on the back.

Optional (Decorations): Targes are often decorated with embossed patterns from the human culture of Eternus.

Equipping: (Enarmes) An Targe shield is equipped with two straps on the back that can be strapped to the shield arm.
