Dual Weapon - Xiphos

Xiphos: (Dual: Piercing / Slashing - One-handed) The Xiphos is a large leaf-shaped double-edged metal sword that is unique in its design in that it is equally usefull for slashing and piercing.

Note: This weapon is favored by many types of combatants.

Critical Offense: This weapon can offer an advantage in combat by increasing its damage on a critical strike. +20 damage -

Critical Defense: When parrying this weapon activates a healing power that increases the wielder's health. +30 health. (Once per round).

Note: The xiphos was popular with the ancient nobles of Eternus. Many combatants still favor this versatile blade.

Special: (Blades of the Order of Regis): Many of the ancient xiphos that frequently turn up across Eternus are known as Blades of the Order of Regis etched with the seals of the ancient houses for which they are created. A complete and surviving record of these houses is unavailable so these blades are often valuable to collectors and historians.

Equipping: This weapon is equipped in two hands by pulling it from a baldric worn under the left arm.
