Tessen (Slashing: One-handed) A Tessen is a type of war fan that originated in Fudokan. It consists of a folding fan made of wood and reinforced with metal and sharpened to a razors edge. They are covered with lamenated wood strips so they are disguised to appear under inspection to be a harmless wooden fan. They turn the fist into a slashing weapon.

Note: Tessens are popular weapon with many combatants.

Equipping: Tessens are equipped in one hand by grasping the weapon by the handle.
