Heritage Weapons - Biodag

Biodag: (Piercing - One-handed) This One-Handed Highland Dirk has a thin blade covered in decorative etchings of Elven symbols. It is about 14" long and the point is focused to a sharp edge and is sharpened down one side. It has a distinctive V-shaped guard. The guard and hilt are often adorned with Elven symbols and artistry.

Worn on the right side of the body, dirks were considered part of the Fairfolk honor. As such is should never be used as a mere tool. They always wear a biodag at their right side for ceremonies and as defense against a surprise attack.

Equipping: A Biodag is equipped in one hand by pulling the blade by the hilt from the scabbard which is worn on the right side.
