Piercing Weapons - Poniard

Poniard (Piercing: One Handed): The Poniard is a single-edged dagger with a slender blade and a thin tapered hilt. They can vary in blade length from 6" to 10" and be made of either stone or metal.

Note: Poniards are the sidearm of choice of the upper class including members of royalty and of the knighthood.

Range: Close

Equipping: A Poniard is equipped in one hand by pulling the blade from the scabbard by the hilt.
