Slashing Weapon - Rapier

Rapier (Piercing: One-Handed) The rapier is a sword with a thin straight two-edged blade and a sharp tip. The hilt is made of wood and wrapped with cord, leather or wire and protected by a hand guard called a basket. A knuckle bow protects the hilt. A thick pommel provides balance to the long thin blade.

Note: The rapier is popular with Armati and other lightly armored fighters.

Equipping: A rapier is equipped in one hand by removing the guard and pulling the blade from the scabbard by the hilt.
