Arming Sword (Slashing: Switch) The arming sword is a type of long sword with a wide two-sided blade and a cruciform-shaped guard. It has a metal or wooden hilt and can be used with one hand or two.

Note: The arming sword is also known as the Knight's Sword and is popular with Knights and Squires who are considered "naked" without it even when they are not wearing armor.

Equipping: An arming sword is equipped in one hand by removing the guard and pulling the blade from the scabbard by the hilt.
