Flamberge (Slashing: Two-handed) The flamberbe is a double-edged long sword with a long handle and blade and two lage hooked flukes for parrying. Also known as a flame-bladed sword or wave-bladed sword.
Critical Offense: This weapon can offer an advantage in combat by creating powerful magical flame on a critical strike.
Critical Defense: When parrying unpleasant vibrations are transmitted into the attacker’s blade reducing his effectiveness on the next attack. Two criticals in a row double the effectiveness of this defense.
Note: The flamberge was popular with the ancient nobles of Eternus. Many fighters and other still favor this exceptional blade.

Equipping: A flamberge is equipped in both hands by pulling the blade from the scabbard by the hilt.
Special: (Blades of the Order of Regis): Many of the ancient flamberges that turn up frequently across eternus are known as Blades of the Order of Regis etched with the seals of the ancient houses for which they are created. A complete and surviving record of these houses is unavailable so these blades are often valuable to collectors and historians.
