Gathering Lore : Identify a common herb up to +4. If successful with a more difficult herb you recognize it as a higher level material. Mundane (+0) materials can be identified with this check as well.

Create Stone Blocks: You can create herb blocks and polish nearly any herb for which you can gain aceess to a quality station. Note: Stations must be of an equal bonus (ie. +1 or etc) as the herb being polished. (1 unit per check)

Uncommon

Check Herbal Content: Check for the presence of trace herbs in an area. These can be collected with a sifter in areas with moving water or a tool such as a hammer and chisel, or a shovel depending on the terrain and analysed over a flame. They can then be identified.

Discern Depth: By studying root formations you can guess your depth underground.
