Weapon bonding is just a way to keep a weapon from being easily used while you are in town. I take this medallion and cast a simple spell on your sword attaching it to your sheath there so it can't be pulled without it taking one round. If the weapon was pulled we can tell that the bond has been broken and you will have to explain why. We don't like swordplay in town without a good reason. You won't need a weapon anyway. The town is very safe. You should have no problem. Also, the minute you leave town the spell will be gone.Choose one Response:
1) I don't like the sound of this binding thing. I'm going to leave and come back later and try to hide my weapons.
2) "Sure, in a second. First what is this place?"
3) "Sure, if you say so. It couldn't hurt them much." You hand him your sword and shield.
4) "Ok, just a second. First I wanted to tell you that caravan driver has an attitude. I don't think he likes adventurers. You should warn people"
5) "Ok, but first can I ask a question? Where can an adventurer find some work around here?"

PHILOSOPHY
Our philosophy is that the rules should add to the fun or get out of the way. Our system encourages you to be creative. It doesn't try to diminish your natural ability to role-play, it enhances it. Opportunities to advance your character and gain an edge on your opponents abound in our system, take advantage of them when you can. See Tactics
